Kinderballet's Tiny Dancer - Kadelle Smith

Kinderballet is proud to be supporting eight-year-old Kadelle Smith as she dances her way to the elite levels of ballet. Kadelle, an ambassador for Kinderballet, has a mix of natural ability, determination and a fun loving spirit. Watching her go from strength to strength across a range of dance disciplines confirms that the Kinderballet program, uniquely formulated to introduce real ballet techniques in a play-based program, is an essential starting point for young dancers.

Kadelle Smith

Kadelle started her ballet training with Kinderballet when she was two years old, doing 'Mummy and Me' classes with her mum. She worked through all the grades in Kinderballet and is currently studying Grade 2 RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) as well as Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Commercial Jazz, Leaps and Turns. She has just started classes with the elite Dance Prescription.

Kadelle is sought out by ballet teachers for her superb technique. She was a dancer in Claudia Dean’s coaching DVD sponsored by Bloch and was Petite runner-up in the prestigious ‘League of Champions’ at the recent National Showcase – just to name a few

Kadelle’s mum, Miranda Smith, is a licensed Kinderballet teacher and Kinderballet Liscensee. She loves the Kinderballet program because it is a fun and imaginative program for pre-school children and it incorporates classical ballet fundamentals. This provides the foundation for technical proficiency that other ballet schools seek out. Kinderballet Director Sheryn Zarins, who has a lifetime of experience learning, teaching and examining ballet in Australia and internationally, is inspired by the sheer love of classical ballet. “My intention has always been to introduce children to the art of ballet,” says Sheryn.
