Presentation Day
Presentation Day is Kinderballet's special end of year event for ALL of our classes !
It’s our version of the end of year performance, made appropriate for small children, and much less stress-free for parents. Here’s why:
It's totally LOW KEY!
Performances take place in the child's regular class at (approximately) their usual time, which means the children are familiar with the venue*, their teacher and their activities.

No BIG concert!
Forget a huge auditorium filled with strange faces: the Presentation Day performance has a SMALL audience of just mums, dads and special friends, up to four per child.

We've been building for this ALL year!
Kinderballet Open Days held at the end of each term are designed to get your child used to performing in front of a small audience. We build toward Presentation Day throughout the year!

Presentation Day is SHORT!
Presentation Day only goes for 30-45 minutes. It's not always easy to keep little kinderballerinas happy and engaged for an extended time, let alone their even younger siblings who come along.

There is only ONE class performing at a time!
You will see you child for the ENTIRE time! The whole experience is about YOUR child. Mum and Dad are only a few feet away at any time enjoying their child perform. You can't do that in a theatre!

NO expensive concert video, photos...
There is no expensive concert video for you to purchase in which your child features for all of 45 seconds, if at all. You are welcome to take whatever photos and video you like as long as it is used for non-commercial purposes only. We also have a fantastic photo competition with $500 of vouchers for the Kinderballet store up for grabs!

Presentation Day is completely STRESS FREE for parents!
Forget about complicated costume requirements, crafting the perfect ballet bun or getting stage makeup for your little one. You simply turn up at your usual class time and put your child in their costume* that will be waiting for them - and that they can keep!
Most ballet school end of year performances cost parents and carers upwards of $300 with concert tickets, extra rehearsals, photos, expensive concert videos, costume hire, makeup applications, as well as the drive across town to a theatre to then pay for parking.

All of this means less stress, more happy children, happy parents which equals a wonderful experience for everyone!
The focus for Presentation Day is on YOUR child's success and enjoyment- it's your child's chance to shine, and to share their love of dance with you. Out of over 50,000 children who have participated in Kinderballet's Presentation Day over the past 15 years, we have had very few children who did not want to participate on the day.
